Wyoming Cowboy Challenge Academy graduation Dec. 9

Wyoming Cowboy Challenge Academy Class 34 will graduate Dec. 9 at 1 p.m., in the Eastern Wyoming College auditorium, 3200 West C St., Torrington, Wyo.

The 32 cadets spent the last 5 1/2 months at Camp Guernsey Joint Training Center completing the program’s residential phase. Core components during this period include academics, citizenship, life-coping skills, civic service, health and hygiene, leadership and physical fitness.

Cadet graduates are: Lucas Allman, Alberto Alvarez, Tyler Byrd, Fabian Carrera, Kyler Clark, Kamryn Daggs, Gabriela De La Cruz, Aaron Drinkwalter, Diago Duncan, Kobie Eatchel, Sean Gibson, Maximus Gorog, Jacob Grangruth, Cory Gunderson, Hunter Hart, Kai Kealoha, Casey Lorenzen, Tristen Martin, Morgan McKee, Kyle Moore, Nathaniel Mueller, Caleb Ockinga, Cayla Petersen, Owen Rees, Timothy Riofrio, Gavin Roady, David Rutherford, Triston Ursry, Ruben Velasco, Deven Wade, Collin Willert and Sebastian Wirth.

Cadets come from the Wyoming towns of Lovell, Cheyenne, Casper, Fort Washakie, Evanston, Lander, Hanna, Pinedale, Powell, Torrington, Riverton, Wheatland, Laramie and Newcastle.
