CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Scottsbluff-area residents can crawl around a Wyoming Air National Guard C-130 Thursday morning, while it’s parked at the Western Nebraska Regional Airport from 10 a.m. – noon.

The C-130, one of eight assigned to the 153rd Airlift Wing, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, is landing at Scottsbluff as part of a regional outreach to educate local residents on the benefits, capabilities, missions and opportunities available in the Wyoming Air National Guard.

“We wanted to bring the Wyoming Air National Guard to our region’s residents,” said Master Sgt. Chandra Gillott, recruiting and retention manager. “We fly all over, but it’s not often we can spend time on the ground to allow people to interact with us.”

To access the C-130 at the airport go through the fire station. Parking is available in the airport’s main lot. Cameras are allowed. C-130 crewmembers and recruiters will be available to answer questions.
