Community Support

Through an active community relations program, the Wyoming National Guard demonstrates that it is a good neighbor and community partner. The Guard and its airmen and soldiers are extensively involved in local community organizations and often participate in, or support, the events they sponsor.

There are a number of state and federal restrictions on how we can support organizations and events, and our training and mission schedule always comes first. But by completely filling out and submitting the applicable form by the appropriate deadlines, you greatly increase the chances that we will be able to assist you. We receive a high-volume of requests for patriotic holidays, like Veterans Day, so please request our assistance early.

Common types of requests include:

Speakers

The Wyoming National Guard is capable of providing public speakers for schools, service clubs and civic events around the state. Some topics which we can address include:

General patriotic themes
The history of the Wyoming National Guard
The National Guard today
Educational benefits and career opportunities
